Neneh Cherry and KOKOROKO will perform at EDPCOOLJAZZ, on July 27th. One night, two great concerts filled with contemporary sounds.

The composer is a generational reference, having her music celebrated by the cultural crossover of sound mixes between hip-hop, R&B, Soul and Jazz. The most recent work "Broken Politics" (2018) was especially celebrated by international critics. For January 2020, the artist has pointed to a celebrated reprint of Raw Like Sushi (1989), which will perform on a single night at the Hipódromo Manuel Possolo at EDPCOOLJAZZ. The latest work featured the production of guru Four Tet, a kind of wizard of a new generation of electronic music, who managed to resize Neneh Cherry's intact talent, a name linked to a timeless imaginary such as “Woman”, “Buffalo Stance” and the 90s super single titled “7 Seconds”, a partnership with Youssou N`Dour. July 27th will be a unique night where Neneh Cherry, who has always stood out for being a strong personality, will take the audience to travel through her 5 edited albums.

Sons of Jazz, the London band KOKOROKO adds a new vibe to classic sounds, adding afrobeat rhythms to their arrangements. The collective also collaborated with several bands, such as the Ezra Collective on the band's last album, “You can’t Steal my Joy”, on the track “Shakara”. Hot and electrifying rhythms will certainly fill the stage of EDPCOOLJAZZ, giving the audience a swing that is already so characteristic of the group, on the 27th of July at the Hipódromo in Cascais.

The tickets issued for the 17th edition of EDPCOOLJAZZ in 2020 are valid for the edition in 2021 and there is no need to change. In case of refund, and following the approval of Law 19/2020 of 29 May 2020, ticket holders are entitled to issue a voucher of equal value to the price paid, to be requested at the place where they purchased the ticket.

The voucher request has to be made at the point of sale where you purchased the ticket.
Ticket holders are entitled to the issuance of a voucher of equal value to the ticket price.
The voucher will be issued to the order of the ticket holder and is transferable to third parties by mere tradition.
It is valid until December 31, 2021.
It can be used to purchase tickets for the same show to be held on a new date or for other events held by the same promoter.
It maintains the insurance that has been contracted at the time of ticket acquisition.
If the voucher is not used by December 31, 2021, the bearer has the right to a refund of the value of the same, to be requested within 14 working days.
